University of Lagos is set to reopen hostels for students .
The school authority approved the reopening of from Thursday, August 26.
The university made this known through a release to Students on Tuesday containing information about the new semester.
The authorities of the university also approved the commencement of the second semester examinations physically on campus.
The reopening is coming six weeks after the closure of hostels and suspension of physical lectures to prevent the spread COVID-19 on campus.
