A local passenger boat travelling from Port Harcourt to Bonny in Rivers State has been shot by a strange helicopter.
The boat was reported to have taken off at the Bonny-Nembe waters in Port Harcourt.
Several passengers were injured and many, feared dead as a result of the attack .
Victims have been rushed to the hospital and are currently undergoing treatment.
According to the Rivers Police spokesman, Nnamdi Omoni , the issue will be properly investigated and culprits will be brought to book.
