Gunmen on Saturday night attacked the home of the lawmaker representing Bakori constituency in Katsina State House of Assembly, Ibrahim Aminu Kurami and abducted his wife and two children.
His home was attacked between 8.00pm and 9.00pm on Saturday night while in Katsina.
Sources have it that the bandits blocked the Funtua-Katsina road for minutes while the attack was ongoing.
Efforts are ongoing by security agencies to effect the release of the victims.
