Spanish giants, Real Madrid have knocked out Manchester City in the UEFA Champions league semifinal with an aggregate score of 6-5 .
Manchester City won the first leg 4-3 and scored the opening goal in the 2nd leg at Santiago Bernabue with a sumptuous strike from Ryan Mahrez in third quarter of the game , but two very late goals from Rodrygo of Madrid changed the complexion of the game and dragged the tie into extra time .
In-form striker Karim Benzema scored from the spot in extra time to put his team ahead with an aggregate of 6-5.
The final which will take place in Paris , France on 29th of may is set for a showdown between Liverpool and Real Madrid.
