The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has disclosed that the first batch of results for candidates who sat for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) will be released this week.
JAMB’s Head, Public Affairs and Protocols (PAP), Dr Fabian Benjamin made this known through a public release.
He said that students who may not immediately see their results are advised to wait patiently, as they will eventually get it.
He advised candidates who may have difficulty viewing their results to only keep trying the right channel, and be wary of unscrupulous individuals who might want to cash in on their desperation.
He added that students having difficulty viewing their results should contact the nearest JAMB office for assistance, or follow relevant instructions on the official JAMB website.
Candidates are advised to log on to the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) result checking portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/eFacility_/CheckUTMEResults,
Supply their registration Number or email address in the right column, click on ‘Check My Results’, and the result will be displayed on the screen.
Results can also be gotten without the use of internet via short code, by sending an SMS with the single word “Result” to 55019
