An attack on a sound engineer, Mr David Imoh by commercial motorcyclists within Lekki has been condemned by the Lagos State Government.
The incident which happened on the 12th of May sparked reaction on the social media and has since been taken up by the Lagos state’s taskforce on environmental offences having arrested about 10 commercial operators in connection to the crime, about 123 motorcycles operating within Lekki axis were also impounded on Monday.
Security operatives disclosed that four motorcyclists have been arrested for their direct involvement in the death of Imoh, 38, while assuring the public that others on the run will soon be arrested.
The Commissioner for Information and strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotosho revealed that everything humanly possible to bring the criminals to book will be done, he noted that he visited two survivors at the hospital and Imoh’s family members for condolences.
