A businessman, Lawrence Olorungbon has been found dead alongside his wife and three children in their Apapa residence in Lagos.
The secretary to the deceased, Njoku Treasure disclosed that she could not reach her boss on his line after several attempts .
She was later forced to pay him a visit at his residence in Apapa, only to meet the entrance door locked and inaccessible.
Treasure added that she perceived an offensive odour pervading the air and that flies could be observed buzzing around.
She then alerted policemen of the Apapa division who visited the scene and forced the entrance door open, to discover all five bodies in a state of decomposition.
Although the police could not come up with any clue as to the cause of death at the time, investigation has begun to uncover the circumstances leading to the tragic incident.
