The super eagles of Nigeria soared to victory beating Sao Tome and Principle 10 goals to nil. The African Cup of nation qualifiers which had 10 goals between the duel is the first of its kind in decades. 

One of Nigerian striker who plays for Napoli Football Club scored four goals, while Terem Moffi  recorded a brace, with Moses Simon, Oghenekaro Etebo, Ademola Lookman and Emmanuel Dennis all scoring a goal each. 

Before now, Nigeria’s highest victory was a win over Benin, the match was played in Lagos and ended 10-1.

Nigeria currently lead the group with 6 points having edged pass Sierra Leone and Sao Tome and Principal. 

The next African Cup of Nations is scheduled to hold in Ivory Coast between June 23 and July 23 next summer.
